Digimedia Gateway 5.7.0 released

Das Digimedia On-Air Data Gateway 5.7.0 wurde um 2 weitere kundenspezifische Modi erweitert. Einerseits können nun systemabhängige XML-Files erzeugt werden und andererseits wurde ein kompatibler HTTP Get Request eingebaut. Damit stehen jetzt über ein Duzend unterschiedliche den jeweiligen Kundenbedürfnissen angepasste Modi zu Verfügung.

Das Digimedia On-Air Data Gateway arbeitet als Middleware zwischen dem standardisierten Digimedia Studio Client und kundenspezifischen Internetumgebungen. Es ermöglicht damit kundenorientiert Anpassungen am Ausgabeformat ohne das der Kern des Studio Clients verändert werden muss.

Neben den kundenspezifischen Ausgabeformaten hat das Digimedia On-Air Data Gateway auch eine direkte Schnittstelle zum Icecast Server und erlaubt damit die direkte Übergabe des aktuellen Titel und Interpreten an den Icecast Server der diesen dann in den Stream einbaut.

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 freigegeben

Microsoft hat das Servicepack 1 für Windows 7 und Windows Server 2008 R2 offiziell freigegeben.

Digimedia 5.x und Studiophone 3 wurden ausführlich damit getestet. Die Installation des Servicepack 1 für Windows 7 und Windows Server 2008 R2 wird empfohlen.

Für Windows XP User ist jetzt der richtige Zeitpunkt zum Umstieg auf Windows 7. Digimedia 5.x und Studiophone 3 laufen ohne Probleme auf Windows 7 in der 32 Bit und 64 Bit Version. Digimedia 5.x und Studiophone 3 sind bereits seit Oktober 2009 produktiv bei Radio Basel mit Windows 7 im Einsatz. Radio Basel ist mit dem Release von Windows 7 auf Sendung gegangen.

Micromedia AG wird Axia Partner

Livewire is the IP-Audio networking standard which utilizes Ethernet to provide an easy way to route and share audio and logic throughout the broadcast plant.

As an Axia Partner, Micromedia will offer their clients software solutions which integrate the Axia IP-Audio Driver with their own Digimedia Professional content delivery software. Micromedia will also be able to provide broadcasters with integration services which include complete Axia AoIP console + routing networks.
